Having a professional family portrait is something we all say we will do but generally put off doing….until we say I wish I had done that! Over the past 3 months I’ve been fortunate to meet many wonderful families who have welcomed me into their family home to create a timeless portrait for generations to come.

When deciding to have a portrait session, its great to have your images electronically on disk to share with family and friends, but its more important to commit your favourite image or 2 to a piece of artwork to showcase in your home.  Create something special, a canvas, framed print or even a studio ice block.

Kids grow up fast – it still feels like only yesterday my 3 year old was coming home from hospital, however he is growing quickly into a confident young man.  I look back at family photos just months old to realise just how much my children have changed in such a short amount of time. Life is short, our families precious, treat yourself to a family portrait session, something we think is a luxury, but we treasure more than most of the objects we collect in our lives!
